    Product Details

    Food supplement with folate and vitamin B12 for mothers during pregnancy, to support cell formation and maternal tissue growth, for a strong immune system and normal blood formation. Counteracts fatigue and tiredness. Promotes normal homocysteine metabolism.

    Gnosis Extrafolate-S is the essential bioactive form in which folates are found in human metabolism. It is therefore highly bioavailable and can be absorbed even when there is an MTHFR defect. That is, when the enzyme MTHFR (methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase) is missing in the body and therefore folic acid ingested with food cannot be converted into folates.

    Folate is the bioactive form of folic acid. Vitamins B9 (folate) and B12 work closely together in metabolism. Vitamin B12 activates the folate.

    Vegan and free from additives

    Vegan capsule shell made of pure vegetable cellulose (HPMC), free of carrageenan and PEG.

    Folic Acid with Extrafolate-S by Gnosis with Vitamin B12 capsules by Unimedica are, according to legal requirements, free of additives such as dyes, stabilizers, preservatives, release agents such as magnesium stearate as well as GMO-free, lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan.
