Use as a spread or suck from a spoon. Made with sharkara and honey - traditional Chyavanprash herbal recipe. Note for allergy sufferers: Contains milk product (ghee). First references to Chyavanprash date back to 3000 years before our era. According to the ancient scriptures of the Vedas "Charaka Samhita", the first and oldest Ayurvedic treatise, Chyavanprash can be consumed daily. Eaten daily, Chyavanprash aids digestion, cleanses the lungs and helps to create a balanced and stress-free state of mind, which slowly but steadily builds up the body's defences. The Charaka Samhita describes it as follows: "the administration of a Rasayana provides long life, good memory, health, youthfulness, lustre, complexion, excellent voice, strength of body and senses.
