High-quality vitamin B premium complex with direct effectiveness
The special formulation of the vitamin B complex with bioactive B vitamins ensures its direct effectiveness: conversion steps in the body, as is often the case with synthetic vitamin forms, which do not occur in nature or in the human organism, are eliminated and the B vitamins are immediately available.
B vitamins are involved in numerous processes in the body. For example, vitamin B1 supports normal heart function and vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 and B12 help to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
For vitamin B12, the two natural and bioactive forms of cobalamin, methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, are used in equal parts. Adenosylcobalamin is the most common bioactive form of B12 found in body tissue and in foods such as meat. Alongside adenosylcobalamin, methylcobalamin is the second variant of vitamin B12 that our body absolutely needs. It is also a natural, bioactive coenzyme form and the most abundant in our blood.
The high-quality branded raw material Quatrefolic® - an active form patented by Gnosis - is used as the folate source.
B vitamins in bioactive form plus cofactors - directly available to the body
The vitamin B complex bioactive from Unimedica contains all eight essential vitamins of the B group. The B vitamins are available in their natural (bioidentical) and bioactive form, with the exception of vitamin B1, which is not approved as a food supplement in its active form. The vitamins in bioactive form are directly available to the body and do not have to be converted into the active form in the organism. This means that the vitamins can be used more effectively and more quickly.
The vitamin B complex bioactive is supplemented by the 4 cofactors that support the effect of the B vitamins: Choline, inositol, betaine and PABA work together with the B vitamins. They can be produced in small quantities by the body itself and have vitamin-like properties.
PABA, for example, works together with vitamin B9 (folate) as a coenzyme in blood formation. Inositol is found in cell membranes and is produced in the liver, brain and kidneys. From there it is distributed throughout the body via the blood. Among other things, inositol acts as a secondary messenger and is part of neurotransmitters in the brain. Choline performs various functions in the human body and supports the liver's enzyme system, for example. Betaine is another form of active choline. It plays a role in various metabolic processes.
Why do we need vitamin B?
The functions of the B vitamins in the body are closely linked. They work together to generate energy in the cells, form DNA and RNA and support brain function, the nervous system and many other important metabolic processes. These water-soluble vitamins are precursors for cofactors for enzyme reactions. This plays a role in the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats, for example. It is therefore also advisable to take B vitamins as a complex so that they can develop their effect in combination - supported by the cofactors betaine, choline, PABA and inositol, which were previously also counted among the B vitamins. B vitamins are involved in many processes in our body. Vitamin B6, folate and vitamin B12, for example, support the immune system, while biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and hair. A vitamin B deficiency manifests itself in many different ways.
Where are B vitamins found in our daily diet?
B vitamins and their cofactors are found in both plant and animal foods. Eggs, meat, fish and milk in particular contain B vitamins. They are also found in nuts, wholemeal products and pulses.
Why the vitamin B complex bioactive from Unimedica is a useful supplement
A balanced diet generally ensures an adequate supply of these important vitamins. However, in challenging life situations we need a lot of them and it is precisely then that a healthy diet often falls short, which can lead to a deficiency. Therefore, supplementing with high-dose, bioactive B vitamins can be useful in times of increased need, so that we are less exhausted and tired.
Spectrum of action*
Vitamin B1 contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal function of the nervous system, normal mental function and normal heart function.
Vitamin B2 contributes to normal energy metabolism, to the normal function of the nervous system, to the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes, to the maintenance of normal red blood cells and normal vision, to normal iron metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It also protects the cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin B3 contributes to normal energy metabolism, to the normal function of the nervous system and the psyche, to the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Pantothenic acid contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal mental performance.
Vitamin B6 contributes to normal cysteine synthesis, normal energy metabolism, normal function of the nervous system and normal psychological function, normal homocysteine metabolism, normal protein and glycogen metabolism, normal red blood cell formation, normal function of the immune system, reduction of tiredness and fatigue and regulation of hormonal activity.
Biotin contributes to normal energy metabolism and normal metabolism of macronutrients, to the normal function of the nervous system and normal psychological function as well as to the maintenance of normal hair, mucous membranes and skin.
Folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy, to normal amino acid synthesis, to normal blood formation, to normal homocysteine metabolism, to normal psychological function, to normal function of the immune system, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Folate also has a function in cell division.
Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal function of the nervous system and the normal psyche, normal homocysteine metabolism, normal red blood cell formation, normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It also has a function in cell division.
