    What is lemongrass and how is the oil extracted?

    Lemongrass belongs to the genus of lemongrass in the plant family of sweet grasses. Its homeland stretches from India through Nepal, Myanmar and Thailand to China. 

    The 100% natural essential BIO lemongrass oil from Unimedica is obtained by gentle steam distillation from the stalks of lemongrass. The plants for this grow in India.
